Happy Birthday Gpa, Lila and Holly

Today we celebrated 3 birthdays: Gpa, my niece Lila and mine. We partied at my brother Tim and Jen's house. The yummy cake was made by Jen.

I made my dad's favorite banana cake but Mark couldn't wait to get into it!

Happy Birthday GPA!

Today is Gpa Clyde's birthday. Although the party will be held at the end of the month, we decided to bring a cake over and surprise him after lunch. Grandpa's favorite cake is a yellow cake with white frosting and topped with bananas! My nephew Cole helped me with the bananas!

Gma Carol lit the candles which my niece Abby arranged.

Quality Time...

My brother Mark and his wife Gwen are celebrating their anniversary at Disneyland. This means my parents are having some quality time with their kids- Noah, Ethan, Abby and Cole.
Today Justin and I went to their house to get in on the quality time. Abby read her homework story to me and then showed off her talent of walking with a book on her head!

The boys played in the rain in the back yard and then Ethan put on a video to watch. He was momentarily joined by Cole.

Noah and Justin then played the Wii but were kind enough to pose for a picture. Crazy cousins!

Happy Birthday Tyler (and James)...Part #3

On Saturday we had our extended family birthday party for Tyler and James! The party started out in the rain with Dwight at the BBQ and James assisting him!

The cake was decorated by Justin! He was quite a good helper getting ready for the party!

WHAT A HAUL!!! What else do teenage boys want besides $$$? He got enough to buy a video iPOD and still have some left over!

James got a HAWK Soccer windbreaker that he had been wanting!

Cole dances with Uncle James...

and Noah rocks the house with the Guitar Hero game!

Calle (better late than never) ate some leftover palt! Yummy! and I was able to talk to his mother Ida when she called him from Sweden.

Cousins!!!

What a great shot of the Miller cousins! Growing up my brothers and I had no cousins. Mom and Dad were both only children, we had grandparents in the area but no COUSINS! I can remember my friends talking about going somewhere or doing something with their cousins and never experiencing that myself. I am so glad that my children have cousins and that we are all close together! (Pictured: (L to R) Tyler, Noah, Evan, Lila, Ethan, Justin, Abigail and Cole). It is also pretty special to be "Auntie Holly"!!!
