8th Grade Science

Justin had a science project to do over the past 2 days. Changing a raw egg into solid form with out cooking it. You put the raw eggs (he had to do 2) into a container and fill it with vinegar to completely cover the eggs. Put the lid on the container and leave it for 24 hours. Then empty the vinegar out and replace with fresh. Leave it for another 24 hours. Then empty the vinegar and rinse the eggs. The shells disappear and the inside egg turns into this funky translucent egg shaped substance. Weird! You homeschoolers should try it! (Noah and Ethan).

Uncle Timmy would have been OK. No egg smell at all! During the experiment you could smell the vinegar but after it was done...nothing!

What can you do with these eggs ehen you are done with them? Could you use them as paperweights?
